Several Republican senators sent President Obama a letter last week. The letter expressed fears that Obama would simply order immigration authorities to not enforce the law, then present Congress with a fait accompli. If true, these plans are deeply disturbing. 70% of the country does wants more enforcement before an amnesty is even considered. Obama would basically be assuming the position of dictator with this action, ignoring the law that he has a duty to execute as he sees fit. He would turn this country into one governed by men, not by laws.

I've completed a quarter-century-I'm 26.

I had my first court appearance today! The outcome was favorable, in that my client will be able to stay in his house for at least a few months more (foreclosure settlement conference, adjournment).

India is forming a coalition of developing countries to fight ACTA. I hope the succeed-the US has thrown its citizens under the bus over this, forcing ISPs to become copyright cops, and continuing the strategy of ruining college kids' lives over a few MP3s.
