Cap and Gown Pickup

I can't believe I picked up my cap and gown today. This is really going to happen-the last of my childhood is coming to an end.

I Can't Believe It

Last night, I walked home from my last law school class.
I have my exams, picking up my cap and gown, then graduation.
I just cannot believe this is coming to an end.
I almost cried during that last walk home from class.

82 Degrees w00t!

I am sitting in my shorts. I don't need a sweatshirt. Last night, I went out in short sleeves for the first time in awhile. It took awhile, but spring is finally here! :-D

I traded in my regular cellphone for a BlackBerry Curve last week. So far, I like the change.
I like having a QWERTY keyboard, and not having to type "Dan" as "3266." I like being to get on the Internet and check my email anywhere, and actually being to use the Internet in a rudimentary fashion. The GPS is useful, as well (I use Google Maps for that).
In a way, it's better than the iPhone for me. I have a motor skills disability, so I might have had trouble with the iPhone's touchscreen. And I really do not like Apple products anyway-they're overpriced for what you get (my iPod's battery breaking and my not being able to replace it myself turned me off Apple and their closed design philosophy). I might get a newer BlackBerry model someday (I was entitled to this one for free with my cell contract), but I think I will stick with a BlackBerry, or at least with non-Apple smartphones.

Goodbye Grandma

I just got back from my paternal grandma's funeral. It was a small ceremony-some prayers at the funeral home, and a graveside service, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. It was a nice service.
Grandma had to be put in a home for the latter part of her life, so I don't have very many memories of her since (I think) middle school. Still, I'm very sad to have lost her.

Meet the new Boss

Same as the old boss.
Obama is defending the Bush administration's policy of spying on American citizens without warrants. That means he's probably continuing those policies. So much for change.

Grey Day

The rain
Starts dropping as mist
Veiling the skyline

NY Bar Registration

I completed my registration for the NY Bar Exam-I gave my school all the forms they need today.
I can't believe it's almost here. Graduation is just going to be anticlimactic, because I still have this big test coming up. I can't believe my formal education is almost over.
