More Adminstration Idiocy

So I go to the burser to add money to my meal account. It turns out that the school thinks I owe money. How could this be-I paid? It turns out that when I dropped to 11 credits, some of my financial aid got taken away (of course I wasn't told of this). I had filled out an underload form, but the burser hadn't gotten it from either Academic Affairs or the Registrar. It got taken care of after 20 minutes and a phone call to (I think) Pleasantville, but still, if I had been told about the financial aid, by either the burser or the registrar (who told me about the canceled class), I would have filled out the underload form earlier and avoided this mess. That is the main source of frustration with my school's administration-1000 departments and none of them talk to each other.

It Begins

First day of classes. Classes-OK Law school administration-Not OK. They canceled a class I was going to take, leaving me scrambling to fill the space in my schedule, and sold out of books for another class.

The idiots at my school announced today, the Friday before classes start, that a class I'm taking has been canceled. Now, at my parents' house, without all my planning material, I have to try to fill the space in my schedule. Idiots!

Note for FedEx

"Left at front door"!="Left with super"-especially when dealing with $400 of lawbooks.

Last Day

My last day at my internship was yesterday. I will probably go back during the school year, but that was my last full time day. Now, I have school ahead of me-no class Mondays, my first class starts at 11-it'll be like a vacation!

So the MPRE was today.
-The Javits Center is like a dungeon.
-I barely finished in time.
-They started late.
I hope I passed-I don't want to to this again.

Words of Encouragement

For anyone else taking the MPRE on the 8th (less than a week!):
Don’t sweat it like I did. You’re probably going to pass the MPRE. If you don’t, you can just try again! Just don’t give up weeks of your life preparing for this two hour exam. Now the actual BAR, well, that will be another story…
