MPAA Wants to Take Away Your Set-Top Box
The MPAA is trying to get the FCC to allow them to send a signal with certain broadcasts that would disable any electronic equipment that does not comply with their DRM. The FCC is currently taking comments. I sent in a comment urging the FCC not to allow it, and anyone who doesn't want Hollywood to force them to get all new electronic equipment should do the same.
