Ah, the Joy of Sports!
So, some softball players in the neighboring county (Rockland) skipped a softball game to go to their senior prom. This was of course between them and their parents.
Ha, ha, of course not! They were denied their end-of-season awards, as though the games they did attend mean nothing.
However, even if they do deserve some kind of sanction for missing one softball game, what they did pales in comparison to the juvenile display by some "adults". I mean, people are saying they'll regret this for the rest of their lives. All I can say to that is, I sincerely hope the greatest regret in my life turns out to be something I did in high school! I never was a huge sports person-do they really have nothing better to do in their adult lives than moan about high school? Sad.
Well, back to the grown-up world!
