Let’s see, this week I got a T-Shirt for eating a whole pizza. :-)

My enthusiasm was dampened, however, by going to a couple of fruitless job interviews. My chances of finding employment for the summer are getting slimmer and slimmer. I guess nobody wants to hire a college student who’ll be gone in late August, when they can instead hire a 40 year old who lost his job due to outsourcing who’ll be there for, well, for longer than a couple months.

On the upside, I saw Episode III. Wow. Lucas has finally redeemed himself.

The packing is done.

My Dad’s waiting for me to finish my finals is done.

The unpacking has just begun.

Before I know it, I’ll have to repack for next year.

And I still don’t have a job lined up.

Well, I just sold my books back.

You know, it’s odd. Even though I am coming back to college after summer, even though I will have better living conditions (a single), I still feel a twinge of sadness as I close the year. But never mind. Close it I must. And next year will be even better.

I visited New York yesterday.

I love that city-the street peddlers, the subways, Chinatown, that special smell of “dirty water dogs”. What a contrast to where I am in the sticks! I hope to go to law school in New York, or someplace close by, so I can experience the city more often.

That college life is several months of boredom followed by 2-3 weeks of sheer terror. Right now, I have three papers I need to get done by May 6^th. Wish me luck. :-)
